Sirkus Supiainen did afternoon school tour in collaboration with Helsinki city Education Department. 20 performances in April and May around Helsinki. About 2000 kids saw this performance.

Varjoja paratiisista (Shadows from the paradise is a dusky performance about relationship. The performance is about the pursuit of confidence, balancing  on a border of light and shadow. Shadows from paradise combines juggling, puppetry and music to to make meaningfull theater for adults.

Maailman suurin pieni sirkus (The world’s greatest tiny circus)

World’s tinyest Great circus is basicly company of two circus artists, and puppeteer. Performance is  fast to set up and easy to travel with. It is fun for the whole family, duration  varies from 30 to 45 minutes.

The performance is about the circus and its history. Information of traditional circus is acompanied with live examples. Balancing artists, jugglers, clowns and even animals perform their roles that old and bit strange circus director asks them to do. Show must go on.

Performance was made for Majakkaperävaunu-project. The project was to take performce to small schools in remote areas where no one will visit  frequently. As a project we teached workshops too.

Sirkus Supiainen continued adventures among circus of parlor. Performers from Sirkus Supiainen went to have a picnic in Norway. From Finland they packed some new and some stuff from past to go. Picnic will be a blast, we have coffee, polaroid camera and animal slippers. We are ready to go.

Susirajan Sirkus is like yesterday’s donuts. You know how it looks, but when you microwave it, it is better than fresh.  Everyday circus where the the most important thing is not sequins, but the slippers.
